
Renee Zhu is a sophomore Mechanical Engineering student at Texas A&M University with a minor in mathematics. She is passionate about robotics and prosthetics and is currently assisting the Open Source Leg (OSL) project in the HERC lab, where she is developing a motion capture system that incorporates Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) Sensors, load cells, and Force-Sensitive Resistors (FSRs) to capture the kinematics and kinetics of versatile gait typically observed during daily living activities.
